The use of any other cleaning solution can void the filters warranty, and quite possibly could damage the cotton material. K&N cleaners work to dissolve dirt build up and old filter oil, and can be washed away with water. These cleaning solutions are environmentally friendly and safe on paint, chrome, cast aluminum, plastic, rubber and vinyl when used as directed. Do not use these cleaning solutions on polished or anodized aluminum. Complete instructions listed on each bottle.
